Krithika brings together a diverse background to contribute to the
empowerment of children with disabilities in India. She is passionate
about reducing the gap between policy and practice in the areas of
education, health, and overall welfare for children with disabilities
through research.
She has over 10 years of experience in research and practice in the
field of child care. She has experience in public health and policy
research particularly focused on child health in India. She brings forth
both quantitative and qualitative research experience. Her work expands
to the social sector wherein she has conducted an impact evaluation of a
mental health program for the LGBTQIA+ community. She was involved in
designing a manual to train field workers who support the mental health
needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Krithika holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Manipal
University, Manipal, Karnataka. She has a master’s degree in
Rehabilitation Science from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She
holds a PGD in Epidemiology from the Indian Institute of Public Health,
New Delhi. Currently, Krithika is pursuing her second master’s in Child
Development from California State University, Sacramento, USA.
